Steve Simpson was formally installed as the Club's new President, following the sudden passing away of President Shahid Latif on 9 October 2019. The Club Board and membership unanimously voted to install Steve as President and Bina Ahmad as Vice-President for the remainder of the current term. He will continue his role as President-Elect and as Club President for 2020-21. . District Governor Mahbub Ahmad administered the oath of office to the newly-elected President and Vice-President.Upon taking office, President Steve paid tribute to the leadership and service of the late President.and pledged to continue his legacy He said he would try to implement the activities and projects that had been initiated by Shahid.
Steve is the Deputy Chief of the Yonkers Auxiliary Police and has been the President-Elect of the Club for the current year.
