Meeting Highlights:
Sundra opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance, Invocation by Frank. Members recited the 4-way test and sang the Club song.

Guest Speaker: Yonkers City Council President Mike Khader.
Mike discussed: the structure of the government of the City Council, his interest in engaging/listening to residents, the success of Facebook Live as a way to see what the City Council is doing (100,000 viewers this year!), some of the issues that residents are concerned about: vacant lots, abandoned vehicles, city budget, some duplication of expenses between the City and the Board of Education, delays in permit reviews by the Building Department, the current building boom in the City
Letsen Memorial - Foundation Action
The Trustees of the Club’s Foundation (Matts, Harvey, Sha, Barbara, and Frank) authorized the Treasurer to pay for the furniture and plaque for the Memorial (appx $8,000) and to obtain reimbursement from NYS pursuant to the grant awarded to the Club. The ribbon cutting will take place during the week of Jan 7 – 11. An email will be sent out.
Anti-Bullying Project
Pete updated the Club. Youth are meeting at the Yonkers PAL on the four Saturdays after Thanksgiving and then at the Yonkers YMCA for the last two Saturdays of the year. Each session includes basketball, snack and a discussion about bullying. Pete and Barbara are coordinating this project.
Holiday Raffle Drawing and Dinner
It will be held on 6pm - 9pm, Wednesday, December 19th at the Old Stone Mill Restaurant in Yonkers. The Club decided that the price will be $36 with a cash bar. Please email Greg if you are attending. The drawing for the 3 raffle prizes will be held at the dinner. Please continue to sell raffle tickets!
Toy Drive:
Jeffrey is coordinating the collection of new toys. Please bring them to the Dec 5, 12 or 19th meeting.
